Mexican Grocery


Declaimer: Items listed in any of the below post is not a part of any promotion. It is an attempt to provide the list of available 100% vegetarian food items (mainly no onion, no garlic, no potato) in regular Grocery store to help vegetarian people with best of knowledge.

Please do not use any of the listed Items if you are not comfortable for the ingredients listed as “spices”

 

 

Cholula original hot sauce:
Cholula hot sauce can be used as seasoning for Pizza, sandwich, burger or any other dish to heat up!

Ingredients:
Water, peppers (arbol and piquin), salt, vinegar, spices and xanthan gum.

Tacobell Refried Beans:
Tacobell refied beans can be most favorite for any of the Mexican recipe (burrito, enchilada, taco salad, taco, fajitas etc..)

Ingredients:
Cooked Pinto Beans, Water, Contains Less Than 2% Of Salt, Soybean Oil, Dried Pink Beans, Natural Flavor, Soy Lecithin.

Note: “FAT Free Refried Beans” is not Jain.

Bush’s Black Beans:
Bush’s black beans are ready to use for any Mexican recipes.

Ingredients:
Prepared Black Beans, Water, And Salt.

Taco Bell Home Originals Mild Restaurant Sauce, 7.5 oz:
Perfect for any Mexican dish.

Ingredients:
Water, Tomato Puree (Water, Tomato Paste), Vinegar, Contains Less Than 2% Of Salt, Chili Peppers, Spices, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Benzoate As A Preservative, Soy Lecithin, Natural Flavor.

Bush’s Best Pinto Beans:
It can be use for any Mexican recipes.

Ingredients:
Prepared Pinto Beans, Water, Salt, And Calcium Disodium EDTA (Promotes Color Retention)

  1. Even Taco Bell Mild Sauce, 8 oz bottle, Easily available at Walmart in the East Coast or Safeway in California, is suitable for Jains.

    • The suace you listed has dried onion. there is another one “Taco Bell Home Originals Mild Restaurant Sauce, 7.5 oz” which is not having onion, garlic but again if you are not comfertable about the ingredients listed as “spices” then you should not use it.

  2. Yes that’s the one I meant – the home originals and I’ve already emailed them and they told me their spices are oregano and cumin. So no garlic/onion there!
