Cabbage Subzi

Serving: 4-5 People

6 Cup of fine long shreds of  sliced Cabbage
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp red chili powder
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes

  1. In a pan heat the oil at medium heat. Add mustard seeds. once mustard seeds start to splitter.. add cumin seeds, turmeric powder & cabbage. mix everything.
  2. Now increase the heat – between medium to high so that cabbage does not leave water. Cook till it becomes soft but still crunchy . keep mixing in between so that it does not stick to pan. DO NOT ADD SALT BEFORE OTHERWISE IT WILL LEAVE MORE WATER.
  3. Once cabbage is tender add salt, tomatoes, coriander powder & red chili powder. Mix it well. turn off the stove.

Cabbage Subzi is ready!! Serve it hot with roti, paratha, rice etc..
