Roasted Broccoli


Perfect healthy side dish.. try once and you will never go back to eating steamed broccoli, specially kids would happily eat too!

Ingredients:

Broccoli florets cut into bite size
cooking oil spray / oil
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
lemon juice (optional) to taste
red pepper flakes (optional) if you want spicy

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.
  2. In a bowl toss the broccoli florets with salt, black pepper, lemon juice, red pepper flakes and oil spray / oil. (take oil just enough to coat everything)
  3. On a greased baking tray spread broccoli florets in a single layer. Roast them on lower rack of oven for 20 min. After that, take the baking tray out, flip broccoli florets & roast them for another 20 min.
  4. Roasted Broccoli is ready to serve!

Enjoy as side dish just like that or with any dip of your choice like plain yogurt, cheese sauce etc..
