Perfect healthy side dish.. try once and you will never go back to eating steamed broccoli, specially kids would happily eat too!
Ingredients:
Broccoli florets cut into bite size
cooking oil spray / oil
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
lemon juice (optional) to taste
red pepper flakes (optional) if you want spicy
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.
- In a bowl toss the broccoli florets with salt, black pepper, lemon juice, red pepper flakes and oil spray / oil. (take oil just enough to coat everything)
- On a greased baking tray spread broccoli florets in a single layer. Roast them on lower rack of oven for 20 min. After that, take the baking tray out, flip broccoli florets & roast them for another 20 min.
- Roasted Broccoli is ready to serve!
Enjoy as side dish just like that or with any dip of your choice like plain yogurt, cheese sauce etc..
