Serving: 2-3 People
I have seen this curry mainly made among Jain families & specially during “Paryushan Parva”.
If you want spicy & tangy subzi made in no time then this is the one!
4 Ripe banana cut into pieces
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
3 small chopped green chillies
1/8 tsp turmaric powder (haldi)
1 tbsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp lime juice
2-3 tbsp chopped cilantro
Heat the oil in a skillet, add mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds splutter, add haldi, banana & rest of the ingredients.
Banana starts becoming soft fast & leaves some water, turn off the stove immeditly as you dont want your curry too watery.
Serve hot with Roti, paratha, rice etc..
